As a group and as individuals there are four primary ways we advocate for safer streets and paths and a better network of safe and connected routes.
1. Report maintenance issues and hazards
2. Report incidences or non-injury crashes
3. Make submissions
4. Write to local and state elected representatives
Check out Actions, Alerts, Announcements for tips and other information about submissions, campaigns, and news.

Missing Links
We compile and track information on missing links and provide the information to the Wollongong and Shellharbour City Councils to inform their infrastructure delivery programs.
The missing link could be major such as the link between Fred Finch Park and Kanahooka Point or a minor missing kerb ramp.
Our comprehensive Mission Links database includes the council’s delivery program and a report for each missing link. Click here to access the Missing Links database.
iBUG Go Fix
Riders are encouraged to share the issues they report to Council with the Illawarra Bicycle Users Group. We track issues and other matters shared with us in a database where each item is linked to a document detailing the information, including Council responses. Click here to access the iBUG Go Fix database.
Audit and Review
We audit and review projects against relevant standards, strategies, and delivery programs. We encourage volunteers to audit works along their riding routes. Click here for an audit form example to use as a template. Click here to access the delivery program and missing links database.
