Bicycle NSW is a member-based association established as a not-for-profit community organisation in 1976. Members receive global, comprehensive (personal accident and public liability) rider insurance and a range of other benefits as well as advocacy and legal support.  

Wollongong Women’s Cycling

Wollongong Women’s Cycle Club is a group of women who ride bikes. Everyone has their own level and own network. This group aims to bring more women together to ride for fun, fitness and friendships. To find their group and find their groove when out cycling.

Post rides on the facebook page include meeting time and place, destination and approximate speed so other women can join in the fun.

Wild Women of Wollongong – Facebook group with 10.2k members. Fun social rides for people who identify as women of all ages and abilities. Random regularity of rides.

Cycling Without Age A local Illawarra chapter of the worldwide network of volunteers who take seniors for a ride on their bespoke electric trishaws. Volunteers always needed. Call or email for more information.Paul Taylor to get back to me.

Illawarra Ramblers

Multi-modal physical activity and social club. Encompassing walking, bike riding and kayaking. The bike rides are graded according to level of skill and challenge involved. Bike rides occur weather permitting Mondays, Tuesdays and some Fridays.

UOW Cycling Club

We repair and donate unused and discarded bikes as part of our give a bike program which aims to eliminate waste and encourage active transport.
