Organised Rides


The ride calendar is intended to provide people with a ride schedule and suggested rides, the final decision on the ride destination will be made by the riders on the day depending on weather conditions and the desires of the riders assembled.
Please ensure you have contacted the Ride Leader before the ride day for final ride information

iBUG Rides:

Sunday Introductory Rides:
Introductory rides catering for newer riders looking for assistance with riding skills and an opportunity to cycle with others at a steady pace on shared use paths and back streets are run most Sunday’s in association with Kiama BUG. Please contact iBUG at for further information

Second Tuesday Illawarra Explorer Rides:
Ride leave Oak Flats Railway Station 8.30 and explore some of the interesting bicycle paths and back streets in the Illawarra, with a different ride each month. Rides will be at a leisurely pace and generally around 30k. Contact Werner on 0413 305 379 or for details

In addition to the rides run by the Illawarra Bicycle Users Group (iBUG) there a number of other groups in the area who are looking for riders, please contact one of them to participate in their rides.  Also visit Bicycle NSW for other Bicycle NSW affiliated BUGS and clubs in NSW
